Shipping & Returns Policy
Every piece in the Gojo collection begins with a maker — a weaver in rural Kenya, a mudcloth artisan in Mali, a beadwork collective keeping centuries of tradition alive. These are not mass-produced goods. They are made by hand, in small batches, by skilled people whose craft has been passed down through generations.
Because of this, your order takes a little longer to reach you than what fast fashion has made us expect. We believe that wait is worth it — and we hope you do too. Thank you for choosing to bring something real into your home.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to Canada and the United States. All orders are fulfilled and shipped directly from Nairobi, Kenya by our artisan sourcing partner, Airi Handmade.

Delivery times are estimates and begin from the date your order is dispatched. Because each piece is handmade and ships directly from artisan communities in Kenya, please allow the full window before reaching out. Customs processing in Canada and the United States may also add additional transit time.
Order Processing
• Orders are processed within 4 business days of payment confirmation.
• You will receive an email confirmation with your order number once your order is successfully placed.
• A shipping confirmation email with a tracking number will be sent once your order has been dispatched.
• Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are unable to redirect orders once they are in transit.
• Gojo is not responsible for stolen or undelivered packages where tracking confirms delivery. Please monitor your shipment closely.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
Orders ship from Kenya to Canada and the United States. Import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees may be assessed by customs upon arrival and are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in your order total or shipping fee.
We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order if you are unsure of applicable charges.
Returns Policy
We want you to love what you bring home from Gojo. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.
Eligibility
• Items must be returned unused, unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached, and in their original packaging.
• Items that are damaged, used, or altered will not be accepted for return.
• Final sale items are not eligible for return.
How to Initiate a Return
• Contact us at hello@gojoishome.ca within 30 days of receiving your order.
• Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and your reason for return.
• Our team will respond within 2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions.
• Returns without a valid RA number will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item received was incorrect or arrived damaged. We recommend using a tracked shipping method for all returns, as Gojo is not responsible for items lost in transit.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at hello@gojoishome.ca within 5 days of delivery. Include clear photographs of the item and packaging so we can resolve your case as quickly as possible. In this case, return shipping costs will be covered by Gojo.
Refunds
• Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases of damaged or incorrect items.
• We do not offer exchanges. If you wish to receive a different item, please initiate a return and place a new order.
